CHÉN STONE names it Specter Dream—Specter for the ethereal, elusive spirit of a phantom; Dream for the interplay of truth and illusion, where all realms follow the mind. It is like a firefly in moonlit mist—half real, half mirage; half waking, half enchanted.In traditional Chinese culture, Huan (幻) signifies the ever-changing nature of the Dao, while Jing (境) is the boundary where mind and matter merge. The Diamond Sutra teaches: "All conditioned phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows." And Zhuangzi dreamed of being a butterfly—uncertain whether he was a man dreaming of a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming of a man. This very essence resonates with Specter Dream.The case is forged from carbon fiber—light yet resilient as bone, its sharp contours embodying the ambition to pierce through illusion. The dial is deep as the night sky, its textures like surging undercurrents, with a sudden burst of yellow light—like a meteorite tearing across the long night, sketching a hazy, enigmatic horizon. Yellow luminous hands emerge from the dial, casting a soft glow in the darkness—like a spark of spiritual insight, guiding the way home. Like ancient ink fading on aged scrolls, illuminating the spirit where soul and dream meet; like an unmoored boat, gliding through the silence between the folds of time. In this very moment, nothing remains as clear and luminous as this heart—the dreamscape of the spirit, pure as ever.The case and bezel are forged from carbon fiber, with a case diameter of 40mm. It is powered by the Seagull ST1701 automatic movement, offering a power reserve of 42 hours. The crystal is sapphire, and the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.The oval case is CHÉN STONE'S alternative interpretation of "the heavens are round, the earth is square"—soft, flowing contours dissolve the rigid edges of industry, while carbon fiber's matte dark textures meander along the curves, as smooth as river stones, yet carrying the inherent strength of forged materials.
Upon the dial, every index is hand-carved by master craftsmen—the blade gliding across the carbon fiber grain, varying in depth and precision, as delicate as the contour lines of the earth. Within each index, luminous material is precisely inlaid—invisible by day, yet by night they emit a soft blue glow, like stars sinking into the deep sea, quietly guiding the way through darkness.
