Specter Oasis
The night vault hangs low, as faint light drifts and settles.
A wisp of sapphire blue blooms from the darkness—like an ice spirit fallen from the heavens, weaving a dream both tangible and true within the void—this is Specter Oasis.
CHÉN STONE names it Specter Oasis—Specter for the ethereal, distant quality of a phantom; Oasis for the palpable reality of a life-giving spring amid the desert. It is like a mirage reflecting distant greenery—half illusion, half truth, where the real and the unreal give birth to each other. In traditional Chinese culture, Xiang (像) is the outward form that carries inner meaning—though flowers in a mirror and moons upon water are but illusions, they reflect the genuine longings deep within the heart. As the Buddhist teaching goes, "As the mind is, so is the form"—the image before one's eyes is, in truth, the landscape of one's own soul. The case is forged from carbon fiber—light yet resilient as bone, its textures drifting like flowing mist. Precision-polished to a matte finish, light and shadow reveal a cold sapphire gleam beneath the surface. Blue luminous hands emerge quietly from the deep dial, like a sudden spark of spiritual light, guiding the lost homeward through darkness—echoing the "Oasis": a beacon in the mist, a living coordinate within the illusory realm. A fully automatic mechanical movement lies within, ceaseless day and night, infusing each glance at the wrist with a power as steadfast and enduring as a night voyager's resolve. The oval case is CHÉN STONE'S alternative interpretation of "the heavens are round, the earth is square"—soft, flowing contours dissolve the rigid edges of industry, while carbon fiber's matte dark textures meander along the curves, as smooth as river stones, yet carrying the inherent strength of forged materials.
Upon the dial, every index is hand-carved by master craftsmen—the blade gliding across the carbon fiber grain, varying in depth and precision, as delicate as the contour lines of the earth. Within each index, luminous material is precisely inlaid—invisible by day, yet by night they emit a soft blue glow, like stars sinking into the deep sea, quietly guiding the way through darkness. Between motion and stillness, the lingering warmth of handcraftsmanship and the cool light of night converge within the oval silhouette.A universe in every wrist, a vastness within the soul.
Specter Oasis is made for those who walk between the real and the unreal, who seek truth amid bewilderment—to find reality in phantoms, to encounter radiance in the dark. Like a mirage reflecting a distant oasis, like a blue flame piercing through the depths of nightmare. In this very moment, nothing remains as clear and luminous as this heart—the phantom of form, pure as ever.
The case and bezel are forged from carbon fiber, with a case diameter of 40mm. It is powered by the Seagull ST1701 automatic movement, offering a power reserve of 42 hours. The crystal is sapphire, and the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.
